GAME BACKGROUND

The massive Abyssal Fleet silently emerged within the Marlow Empire. None knew where they came from, where they were going, or what their purpose was. By the time the Empire truly recognized the abyssal threat, nearly 13% of its star domains had already been consumed.

In the year 3658 of the Marlow Calendar, the Abyssal Fleet had seized control of most star systems across the domains, leaving the Empire gasping its last breaths – nothing more than a battered, broken husk. To bolster civilian morale, the “Successor Project” was officially unveiled to the public.

Yet even so… the advance of the Abyss could not be halted…
